Thank you to Brianne Blom with the Clay Country Conservation Board for bringing our grades K-6 to Bertram park for a field trip full of nature. We learned about all things fall, such as how trees and leaves change, camouflage for animals in the prairie grass, and how to sit and enjoy being in nature. The students had a great time!

Our school was filled with the cutest "characters" today for our Red Ribbon Week Character Day!
We've had fall parties in our classrooms, character parades down the hallways, extra yummy treats, and SO much fun with our Mavericks!
Stay safe and PLEASE try to get a bit of rest tonight, Mavericks! We have a K-6 field trip tomorrow that we are excited about!

Our Mavericks Cook Club whipped up some yummy food this past Tuesday afternoon. Students made chocolate chip cookies and spaghetti cupcakes from scratch then got to enjoy their own culinary efforts. Thanks to Ms. Melinda for her help in the kitchen! 💕
