Our Mavericks are making the most of "Earth Day Week" by heading out for service-learning projects!
Today, our 5th graders headed to Everly to pick up trash and sticks at Freedom Rock Park, Main Street, and Everly City Park.
The students had a beautiful day for outdoor work and did a wonderful job synergizing to complete the task.
We are proud of our Maverick leaders and their willingness to serve others! Go Mavericks!
Look at these FABULOUS smiles! These talented singers sang with the NW Iowa 5th & 6th Grade Honor Choir in Orange City yesterday. They performed to a standing room only audience! It was a fun day of learning and singing! Thank you, Mrs. Huntress for the opportunity to participate in this festival. A shoutout to Kay for the yummy cookies, too!

Yesterday our 2nd graders made their monthly trip to Hartley’s Community Memorial Assisted Living to visit and read with their resident friends!
The students look forward to this trip every month and are grateful to reunite with their Community Memorial friends over great books and conversation.
We have one more visit next month before schools out and they’re already asking when that trip is!

Our Mavericks in Motion Student and Staff Annual Wellness Initiatives have been a wonderful success this year! Children and staff alike are staying active and making healthier choices!
