Kindergartners and 1st graders recently explored the new Learning Centers at CCE. Located in the previous third floor library, the centers were designed to promote social and emotional learning for our youngest students. They range from art and writing stations to block building and housekeeping areas. Sharing with others, waiting for turns, and playing cooperatively are a number of the skills we will be focusing on during Learning Center times each week. While students have only experienced this opportunity a few times thus far, please ask your Kindergarten or 1st grade child about these engaging activities!
