CC/E’s 2nd and 3rd grade classes traveled to the Dickinson County Nature Center on Monday to learn more about snakes. Students examined snake sheds, rattles, and three of these live reptiles up close. Some children even chose to gently hold, “Olive,” a beautiful Western Hognose snake. While at the nature center, students also enjoyed the indoor Pollinator Paradise as well as the outdoor Nature Playscapes. Thanks to Bryanna Kuhlman, Naturalist, and the DC Nature Center for hosting us! Please ask your child about his/her adventure!!!
